SAN ANTONIO – The San Antonio Spurs made a pair of roster moves on Monday, adding veteran guard Andre Miller and waiving Ray McCallum.
McCallum, who was in his first season with the Spurs, appeared in 31 of San Antonio's 59 games so far this season.
The Spurs acquired McCallum last summer from the Sacramento Kings in a trade for a second round draft pick.
By parting ways with McCallum, the Spurs opened up a roster spot for the 17-year vet Miller.
Miller was waived by the Minnesota Timberwolves last week in hopes of joining a team on a championship run.
The Spurs (50-9) are poised to do just that as they currently sit at the No. 2 spot in the Western Conference behind Golden State.
The Spurs wrapped up their Rodeo Road Trip on Saturday with a 104-94 win over the Rockets in Houston.
The Silver and Black return to the AT&T Center on Wednesday for a matchup with the Detroit Pistons.
