SAN ANTONIO – Most people have seen the photo.
Jarrid Pantel and Jules Alva went to the Spurs game on Saturday like anyone else, but they left with everyone knowing what other big event they were missing to attend the game.

The couple skipped their senior prom after getting tickets to the Spurs final home game of the season.
“We brought a sign so maybe we expected to be on the Jumbotron or get the attention of the players,” Pantel said. “When the kiss cam came on, I was like ‘Uh oh, what do we do?’”
The Spurs even tweeted a photo of the couple, decked out in their prom outfits. They were holding their sign that said, “We skipped senior prom 4 this game!!!" It has since been retweeted 2,200 times and liked almost 9,000 times.
Both said since they attended their junior prom, they figured Saturday’s school event would be much the same.
Though the Spurs could not pull out a victory, the couple said it was still 10 times better than prom.
