Rockets center Nenê out for remainder of playoffs

Nene injured during Sunday night's win over Spurs

HOUSTON – Houston Rockets center Nenê will miss the remainder of the postseason with a left adductor tear, NBA.com and ESPN.com reported Monday.

Nenê was injured during the first quarter of Sunday night's game against the Spurs, which the Rockets won 125-104.

He played only 1 minute, 43 seconds before suffering the injury.

Nenê was averaging 10.8 points and 5.3 rebounds in 19.9 minutes per game during the playoffs, ESPN reported.

The series, which is tied 2-2, resumes Tuesday night in San Antonio.
