SAN ANTONIO – Even without Kawhi Leonard, who exited Game 5 of the Western Conference semifinals late in the fourth quarter with an ankle injury, the San Antonio Spurs somehow managed to pull off the victory at home against the Houston Rockets.

And who can Spurs fans thank? Enter “vintage” Manu Ginobili with what teammates like to call “The Grandpa Juice.”

Fans on social media took notice of old-school Ginobili after ending the night with 12 points, seven rebounds and five assists.

However, the love and support didn’t end at the box score.

With less than 10 seconds on the clock in overtime, the Rockets were down 110-107 to the Spurs and won the jump ball picked up by Ryan Anderson who then passed it to MVP-candidate James Harden.

Jonathan Simmons switched with Ginobili in guarding Harden and with less than a second on the clock, the Rockets star shooting guard was blocked by the 39-year-old Ginobili from behind to seal the victory and perhaps save the Spurs season.
