Friday was the first time Leonard had spoken to the media since he re-injured his ankle in Game 1.
He was also asked whether his opinion had changed on the play by Warriors center Zaza Pachulia, in which Pachulia put his foot under his ankle.
Leonard said after Game 1 he did not believe the play was intentional.
“Nah, I’m just focused on getting healthy and getting ready to play in Game 3. I’m not worried about that,” Leonard said.
The Spurs have been outscored by the Warriors by 61 points since Leonard left Game 1 with the ankle injury. They are down 0-2 in the West finals.
Game 3 of the Spurs-Warriors series tips-off at 8 p.m. Saturday.
