SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio Spurs fans have been known to be vocal either in defending or criticizing the men in silver and black uniforms.

Among some of the burning questions in the minds of Spurs fans: Keep or trade LaMarcus Aldridge? Will Manu Ginobili retire after this year? Can Tony Parker bounce back from season-ending injury? Which Spur proved his worth to resign this offseason?

On a more positive note, Spurs and NBA fans alike are marking their calendars for the NBA’s first awards show on June 26, featuring All-Star Kawhi Leonard as a MVP finalist for the first time in his career.

Leonard is also looking to win his third straight Defensive Player of the Year award over Golden State Warriors power forward Draymond Green and Utah Jazz center Rudy Gobert.

Even after reaching the Western Conference Finals for the 10th time in Spurs history under head coach Gregg Popovich, fans are signaling for the caped crusader, who is better known as Tim Duncan, to make his return to the hardwood and carry the team back to glory.
