Mayor Ivy Taylor makes good on bet, wears Warriors t-shirt

Tweet was published just before 9 a.m. on Thursday

SAN ANTONIO – Mayor Ivy Taylor made good on her bet with her mayoral counterpart from the city of Oakland, donning a Golden State Warriors t-shirt in a tweet sent out on Thursday.

With Spurs' point guard Tony Parker out and star Kawhi Leonard sidelined due to an ankle injury, the Warriors swept the Spurs in their Western Conference Finals matchup four games to none. The Spurs however were leading in game one when Leonard's injury occurred.

The bet was similar to the one she had won in the previous series with Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner, who then wore a Spurs jersey to a city council meeting.
