2017 BGC Preview: Seguin Matadors

SEGUIN, Texas – The Seguin Matadors are looking to compete in a tough district and make the playoffs under head coach Travis Bush.

Seguin returns 10 starters from last year's team including running back Brandon Palomares who rushed for over 1,000 yards and had 300 yards receiving.

District 26-5A is one of the most competitive in the state, and the Matadors can be a spoiler.

Seguin opens its season on Aug. 31 against Austin Travis at Matador Stadium.
