Scholar Athlete: Lance Ford, Tivy

What are you most excited about for your senior year and why?
What I am most excited about for my senior year is spending it with my friends and playing my last baseball season as a Tivy Antler.

What drives you to be successful in the classroom and in your particular sport?
What drives me to be successful in the classroom and on the baseball field is my desire to be the best I can possibly be in anything that I do. I was raised to give 100 percent in whatever I am doing.

How do you balance homework, participation in sports and spending time with family and friends?
It is hard to balance all of the activities I am involved in along with my schoolwork and baseball training, so I spend most of my nights up late doing homework.

How do you want to be remembered at school once you graduate?
I want to be remembered as an exceptional student, a successful athlete, but more importantly a great person and leader at my school when I graduate.

Where do you want to attend college, major in and why?
I am attending the University of Texas to play baseball and study architecture.

If you could have one superhero power, what would it be and why?
I would have the ability to fly because I think it would be awesome.

If you could take any athlete or celebrity to your senior prom, who would it be and why?
If I could take any celebrity to prom, I would take Margot Robbie.
