Live coverage: Spurs host Thunder to begin key three-game homestand

Spurs coming off back-to-back losses

SAN ANTONIO – The San Antonio Spurs are back home to begin an important three-game homestand that will culminate with Tony Parker’s jersey retirement ceremony on Monday.

Oklahoma City visits the AT&T Center Thursday for the first matchup of the season between the Spurs and Thunder.

For the first time in years, the Spurs will play an Oklahoma City team that no longer has Russell Westbrook on the roster.

The Thunder traded the all-star point guard to Houston over the summer and received Chris Paul in return.

Oklahoma City also traded Paul George to the Los Angeles Clippers for a package that included rising star Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and forward Danilo Gallinari.

The Spurs will look to bounce back after two straight losses. San Antonio fell to the Los Angeles Lakers at home on Sunday and on the road at Atlanta on Tuesday. They are now 4-3 on the season.
