Several San Antonio area recruits plan to sign letters of intent to play college football at various universities and colleges. Here's a look at where some of the top recruits are leaning.
DJ Allen, Brennan LB:
Allen is a 2-star recruit on Rivals and 247Sports.com. Allen led the Bears defense and verbally committed to Tulsa over UTSA. Allen was an All-State selection his junior year.
Elijah Earls, Stevens DE-LB:
Earls was one of the top defensive players in the city last season. Earls was named first team 6A All-State defense after helping the Falcons reach the playoffs. Earls was considering Texas A&M-Kingsville and Midwestern State, but reportedly verbally committed to Texas A&M-Commerce on Jan. 29.
Daniel Rosenfeld, Antonian RB:
Rosenfeld was one of the most prolific running backs in San Antonio over the past couple years and has verbally committed to Air Force. He is the fourth area recruit expected to sign with the Falcons.
D'Anthony Carter, Stevens DB:
Carter was one of the top defensive backs in the city and named first team 6A All-State defense. Carter was considering Texas A&M-Kingsville, Cisco College and Doane College. Carter has reportedly not made a decision.
Dominique Ramsey, Judson DB:
Ramsey was one of the toughest defensive backs in the city during his senior season at Judson. Ramsey was named second team 6A All-State defense and verbally committed to Texas A&M-Commerce.
Kavior Clark, Madison WR:
Clark was one of the top wide receivers in the city and verbally committed to Texas A&M-Kingsville.
Shane Calvin, Judson LB:
Calvin was one of the standouts in good Judson defense. He has verbally committed to Texas A&M-Kingsville.
