Big Game Coverage Road Trip: Week 10 Preview

SOUTH TEXAS – We are now in November and have two weeks left in the regular season. With four playoff berths in each district, the action is heating up as we run around South Texas on the BGC Road Trip. 
 
Game 1: Somerset Bulldogs (6-2, 2-1 District 15-4A-1) at Pleasanton Eagles (8-0, 3-0 District 15-4A-1). This is a contest between the top two teams in 15-4A-1. The Eagles can lock up the district title with a victory. Somerset, led by quarterback and BYU commit Zadock Dinkleman will test the Eagles defense, scoring 50 plus points in back-to-back games.

Kickoff is 7:30 p.m. Friday at Eagle Stadium.

Game 2: Harlandale Indians (0-8, 0-3 District 29-5A) at Southside Cardinals (6-2, 3-0 District 29-5A). Southside is tied for first place in 29-5A with Floresville. The Cardinals won last week, 51-0. Harlandale is tied for last place and will now look to play the role of spoiler. 
 
Kick is 7:30 p.m. Friday at Southside ISD Stadium.

Game 3: Uvalde Coyotes (4-4, 1-2 District 29-5A) versus McCollum Cowboys (0-8, 0-3 District 29-5A). Uvalde currently holds the fourth and final playoff spot in 29-5A. Both teams come into the game needing a victory to keep their postseason hopes alive. 
 
Kickoff is 7:30 p.m. at Harlandale Memorial Stadium.
