Schedule change for some local high school football games due to rainy forecast

Harlandale Independent School District has moved up the start of its football games Friday night because of the rainy weather forecast.

The McCollum vs. Somerset game at Memorial Stadium will kick off at 7 p.m. instead of 7:30 p.m.

The same goes for the Harlandale vs. Kennedy game at Veterans Stadium.

Harlandale ISD officials say the games will still be held in the rain, but if lightning becomes a factor, the games would be delayed or canceled.
