SAN ANTONIO – For the first time in program history, the University of Texas at San Antonio Roadrunners have become bowl-eligible.
UTSA defeated the Charlotte 49ers 33-14, and finished the season 6-6.

Fans took to social media to express their excitement at the historic moment.
David Morgan, the first player from the program ever drafted by an NFL team, tweeted “UTSA is going bowling so proud not only this team but everyone that has been a part of this program, proud to be a roadrunner.”
The Roadrunners could land at several college football bowl games, including:
