SAN ANTONIO - A cold front blew through San Antonio and fortunately it was enough to cool down the Heat late in the game so the Spurs could pull out another quality win, 117-105.

The Spurs had eight players score in double figures, led by LaMarcus Aldridge who scored 18. San Antonio finished with another 30-assist night.

"That's always wonderful and then you sit down, and you start feeling good about it you realize that Golden State (Warriors) does that every night and you go,' OK, we got a way to go, don't get too excited,' but it is good to see," said Gregg Popovich.

"It comes from everybody being willing to make a pass," said Rudy Gay who scored 16 points. "(We) have to find the open man pass up the best shot for a great shot."

Manu Ginobili took a shot to his right knee late in the first quarter. He banged knees with Bam Adebayo.

"Knee-to-knee, it was one of those that hurt right there in the moment, it is going to hurt tonight and tomorrow a little bit but it is nothing serious," said Ginobili.

Ginobili was able to keep in loose just off the court and kept some heat on it. He finished with 10 points in 25 minutes.

He also heard the crowd gasp at the moment he bent over to rub it and then started limping to the bench.

"I heard the crowd gasp, usually I don't hear much but I heard an 'oooooooh' and I am glad they still worry about me," Ginobili said.

They have been a little worried about win since the Heat were knocking down three's at will.

They were 6-10 in the first quarter and kept it up finishing 18 of 34. They did miss their last few attempts to help the Spurs hold on.

San Antonio tried to keep pace hitting 13 of 25 from three point range.

Bryn Forbes was one of the eight in double figures, finishing 17 points, including a career high 5 of 5 from three-point range.

"Some nights it goes in, some nights it doesn't -- you just try to stay as even as you can," Forbes said.

This was the second time this season the Spurs had eight players score in double figures.

San Antonio will next host the Boston Celtics Friday at 8:30 p.m.
