SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio Spurs guard Manu Ginobili is known for chronicling his off season adventures. From the San Antonio River to Argentina, Ginobili shares photos and blogs about his travels.
On Tuesday, the 4-time NBA champ said he is contemplating recording the 2017-2018 season and took to Twitter to ask his fans what they preferred: videos or blog posts?

Many answered Ginobili's question without second thought, but when one fan suggested he chronicle his NBA adventures using Instagram stories, his response raised suspicion from some.

Ginobili told the fan he would like to remember the season and that Instagram stories disappear. Another person responded, "What do you mean remember? Are you insinuating this is your last season?"

Ginobili has been with the Spurs for 15 seasons and celebrated his 40th birthday in July. It was speculated Ginobili would call it quits after the 2016-2017 season.
The Spurs vet drew a standing ovation from the crowd after the Spurs' season-ending loss to the Golden State Warriors.

After the game, Spurs coach Gregg Popovich told reporters he started Ginobili against the Warriors to honor him as it could have marked his last game.
“We started him out of respect,” Popovich said. “That was the whole reason for starting him. Before the game, you think it may or may not be his last game that he ever plays in, and I did not want to miss the opportunity to honor him in front of our home fans for his selflessness over the years.”
