SAN ANTONIO – After reports suggest Cleveland Cavaliers starting point guard Kyrie Irving wants to be traded preferably to San Antonio, Spurs fans are going crazy on social media calling on the front office to land him.

On Friday, Cavaliers insider Brian Windhorst of ESPN broke the news about the four-time NBA All-Star asking the team’s front office in a meeting last week he wanted to be traded.

According to the report, Irving said he prefers to join the San Antonio Spurs with New York Knicks, Miami Heat and the Minnesota Timberwolves as other teams he’s willing to play for.

During last week’s meeting with Cavs management, Irving expressed he wants to be more of a team’s focal point and no longer wants to play alongside superstar LeBron James, according to the report.
