The next closest MVP candidate is James Harden, who has a 32.9 PER this postseason.

Grizzlies head coach David Fizdale jokingly suspects Leonard is not human. He spoke to the media about Leonard ahead of Thursday night’s Game 3 in Memphis:

“He was standing next to me the other night and he wasn’t breathing. I’m going to check the rule book and find out if robots are allowed to play in the NBA,” Fizdale said. “I think he bleeds like antifreeze or something. He is special.”

Game 3 is scheduled to tip off at 8:30 p.m. Thursday. The Spurs have a 2-0 series lead.
