Dallas Cowboys' Ezekiel Elliott involved in incident at bar, report says

Elliott already under investigation for domestic violence accusation against him

DALLAS – Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott was involved in another off-field incident this weekend, according to various reports.

Elliott was involved in a late-night incident at a Dallas bar Sunday, according to 105.3 FM The Fan.

The Fan’s Mike Fisher reported the incident involved a man who said he had been physically assaulted at the bar, but did not know who assaulted him.

The man was transported to to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to Fisher.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reported Monday morning that a Dallas police spokesperson said no arrests have been reported in connection with the incident.

This is the latest alleged incident for the Cowboys star running back, who is already under NFL investigation because of a 2016 domestic violence accusation against him.

Elliott is reportedly facing a one or two game suspension, but the NFL has not commented on the investigation and has not made a final decision on whether would be suspended at all.

Schefter reported Elliott has been preparing a response to the league in regards to the domestic violence accusation, according to Schefter.

Elliott is entering his second season with the Cowboys after rushing for 1,631 yards and 15 touchdowns in his rookie season.
