Release date for 'One Million Dreams' is summer of 2018, creator says

SAN ANTONIO – A "One Million Dreams" app was made to help people get closer to their dreams while connecting them with people with similar dreams.

CEO Winslow Swart said he spent several years mentoring people and making their dreams real, and that's how his idea began.

"We started the East Side Dreamers Academy. We were working with some at-risk youth high school kids and helping them work on their dreams and their trajectory, which is also educational, academic, and a lot of really cool things," Swart said.

Swart and his team wanted to take it a step further and create an app where they can reach more people.

"We are officing out of Geekdom. Geekdom has actually allowed us to incubate accelerate our ideas and have a collaborative community which has allowed us to thrive," Swart said.

The result was the team's "One Million Dreams" app.

Once you create a profile using your social media accounts, you set up your top dreams.

"Then they will be able to articulate some action items that are time bound. That have a time line and from that you get notifications that remind you to work on the dream," Swart said.

People who have similar dreams can like, comment and interact.

The app will come out by summer 2018. For more information, click here.
