That is in addition to the 77 counties President Joe Biden’s administration included in a major disaster declaration this weekend. Texans without insurance in counties under Biden’s major disaster declaration can go ahead and apply for federal aid. AdEarl Armstrong, a FEMA spokesperson, said that eligible Texans should file their insurance claim first then shortly after apply for disaster assistance.
