SAN ANTONIO – A man in a wheelchair was hit by a van while crossing a street overnight, San Antonio police said Tuesday.
The accident occurred around 9:30 p.m. Monday on Vance Jackson Road near Loop 410 on the city's North Side.
Police said the driver of the van told them he did not see the man in the wheelchair.
The victim was taken by EMS to University Hospital and is expected to recover.
The driver will not face any charges.
