The northbound and southbound lanes of West Loop 1604 at Highway 151 were closed around 12:45 p.m. Monday after a cement truck overturned, San Antonio police said.
Police said the truck carrying an 80-ton load was traveling south on Loop 1604 when the driver attempted a left turn onto Highway 151 and overturned.

Hazmat crews are working to clean up diesel fuel that leaked when the truck tipped. Tow trucks will then remove the cement truck.
The northbound lanes of Loop 1604 are closed starting at the exit to Highway 151. Southbound lanes are partially opened but will close when the tow trucks move in.
Police estimate the cleanup to take a couple of hours. No one was injured.
