SAN ANTONIO – An overnight rollover crash left two passengers trapped, San Antonio police said Tuesday.
The incident occurred around 10:15 p.m. on Old Corpus Christi Highway near Interstate 37.
Police said the driver of a sport utility vehicle lost control and flipped several times, ejecting him. The SUV while in motion, landed on him, trapping him for roughly 20 minutes.
Firefighters freed both the driver and a woman passenger also trapped inside.
The pair were taken to San Antonio Military Medical Center for their injuries. Their condition is not known.
Police said a third passenger was also in the vehicle at the time of the crash, but ran away from the scene.
