SAN ANTONIO – A woman was thrown from her car Wednesday night in a violent crash on the city's Southwest Side.
The accident was reported around 10 p.m. in the 1400 block of Cupples Road.
Police said a woman was speeding down Cupples Road when she hit another car, flipping it on its side.
The woman was thrown from her car as it came to a stop in a mangled mess around a pole.
She was taken to San Antonio Military Medical Center for treatment. Her condition has not been released.
Police said a couple riding in the car that she hit suffered minor injuries and was take to a hospital for treatment.
KSAT 12's Courtney Friedman was at the scene moments after the crash and shared video of the crumpled cars on Twitter.
