San Antonio police investigates 2 separate shootings

1 woman dead, 2 other injured in separate shooting incidents

SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio police are investigating two separate shootings that happened early Saturday morning.

The first shooting happened on the far Northeast Side around 1 a.m. Police said they responded to a shooting call in the 6000 block of Glacier Sun Drive. 

When they arrived they spotted a car that was crashed into a vacant home, and a woman dead inside with a gunshot wound to the head.

Witnesses told police they saw a silver SUV drive off after shots were fired.

The second shooting happened shortly after that on the city's East Side.

According to police, two men were sitting on a curb around 3 a.m. near the 600 block of North New Braunfels Avenue when someone inside a white Suburban pulled up and opened fire.

Both men were taken to the San Antonio Military Center in critical condition.

Police are currently looking for both shooting suspects.
