Woman killed, man in critical condition after motorcycle crash in New Braunfels

Female victim identified as Lisa Ann Durocher, 45, of New Braunfels

NEW BRAUNFELS, Texas – A 45-year-old woman is dead and a 54-year-old man is in critical condition following a motorcycle crash in New Braunfels.

The deceased victim was identified by police as Lisa Ann Durocher of New Braunfels.

The accident occurred just before 11 p.m. Sunday in the 1300 block of FM-306 at the intersection of Hunter Road.

According to police, a 2001 Dodge Neon driven by a 16-year-old was turning east onto FM 306 from Hunter Road into the right-hand lane. That's when, police said, the driver of the Neon struck the motorcycle, ejecting both people off the 2008 Harley Davidson.

The male driver of the motorcycle was transported to San Antonio Military Medical Center by Airlife in critical condition. Durocher was transported by ambulance to the Resolute Hospital in New Braunfels, where she was pronounced dead.

No charges are expected to be filed, police said.
