SAN ANTONIO – An 18-wheeler crashed and caught fire Wednesday morning on the city's North Side.
Police said the driver of the big rig swerved to avoid a crash on Loop 410 East at the Nacogdoches exit around 9 a.m. and skidded along a guardrail.
The impact caused the fuel tank to rupture, igniting the fire.
No injuries were reported.
