SAN ANTONIO – A Mercedes Benz sport utility vehicle rear-ended an 18-wheeler Monday afternoon on the city's far Northwest Side, leaving one person injured, officials said.
The crash was reported around 2:50 p.m. on the access road of Interstate 10 West near The Rim and Camp Bullis Road exit.
The victim was taken to University Hospital in an undetermined condition, officials said.
EMS crews took about 30 minutes to extract the victim from the SUV, officials said.
