SAN ANTONIO – A man was killed in an apparent hit-and-run accident Wednesday night, the Bexar County Sheriff's Office said.
The accident was reported just after 11 p.m. on Kirkner Road in East Bexar County.

Deputies said a 50-year-old man was walking on the side of Kirkner Road when he was hit by the vehicle.
The driver did stop following the accident, deputies said.
The victim's name is not presently known.
