Traffic lights at intersection of Huebner Rd, Fredericksburg Rd impacted

SAN ANTONIO – Power has been restored to Hobby Middle School and surrounding areas after a power outage Tuesday morning.

Northside ISD spokesperson Barry Perez said the school was forced to move STAAR testing scheduled for today to Thursday.

The traffic lights at the intersection of Huebner Road and Fredericksburg Road were also impacted following a vehicle accident early Tuesday morning, officials with CPS Energy said.

San Antonio police said the accident took out either a pole or transformer. Officers began directing traffic in the interim, police said.

According to CPS Energy roughly 2,000 people were without power.
