SAN ANTONIO – UPDATE: The San Antonio Police Department is reporting that all lanes of southbound I-35 at Nogalitos are once again open and that the lower level has reopened following an 18-wheeler accident.

The San Antonio Police Department is reporting that the lower level of southbound Interstate 35 at Nogalitos is closed due to an 18-wheeler accident.

Police said a big rig is on the center median. The 18-wheeler is leaking fuel.

Police said the lower level is likely shut for two hours. Police advice using an alternate route if possible.

The accident is also blocking one lane of northbound Interstate 35, police said.

There are no injuries as a result of this accident.
