SAN ANTONIO – Two people were taken to the hospital after their rolling vehicle hit a moving train overnight, San Antonio police said Monday.

The accident happened just before 2 a.m. in the 6000 block of Rittiman Road, found on the city's Northeast Side.

Police said the train was already crossing the intersection with the barriers down when the vehicle rolled and hit the moving train.

The train dragged the car about 50 feet before it could stop, police said.

The driver and the teenage passenger were both taken to San Antonio Military Medical Center with a few minor injuries.
