SAN ANTONIO – A motorcyclist was killed Tuesday morning on the city's Southwest Side.

Police said they found 64-year-old Adolph Rodriguez and his wrecked motorcycle around 6:30 a.m. in the median of Interstate 35 and New Laredo Highway.

A witness told police that Rodriguez decided to exit on New Laredo Highway at the last minute, lost control of his bike, hit the guardrail and flipped into the grassy median.

Rodriguez was pronounced dead at the scene. He was wearing a helmet, police said.
