BOERNE, Texas – The first of about six construction closures on Interstate 10, between Leon Springs and Boerne, will happen this weekend.
Beginning at 5 a.m. Saturday until 6 a.m. Monday, all the main lanes of I-10 will have to exit at Fair Oaks Ranch, go through the intersection and then re-enter the highway.

Crews will be working on the Fair Oaks Parkway overpass, including setting bridge support beams for a new turnaround being built.
The Texas Department of Transportation said it hopes to have the work finished much sooner than 6 a.m. Monday.
