Motorcyclist hospitalized after collision with car

Incident occurred around 5:30 a.m. in 6100 block of Culebra Rd

SAN ANTONIO – A motorcyclist was taken to an area hospital after being involved in vehicle accident early Wednesday morning, San Antonio police said.

The incident occurred around 5:30 a.m. in the 6100 block of Culebra Road.

According to police, the driver of a car pulled out of a side street but not before looking both ways. The woman began to make a turn onto Culebra Road when a motorcycle then T-boned her.

The motorcyclist suffered non-life-threatening injuries as a result of the accident, police said. The woman in the car was not hurt.

Witnesses said they heard a motorcycle revving up so police said they believe the motorcyclist pulled out before the driver could avoid him.
