The victim was identified as Jeremy Allen Garcia, 24.

Original Story:

A driver was killed Tuesday morning in a three-vehicle crash on the city's West Side.

San Antonio police said the crash happened around 8:25 a.m. at Highway 90 West near Nogalitos.

Police said a man driving a Buick Century was traveling in one of the outside lanes, and for some unknown reason, veered to the left side of the highway and crashed into the side of a Ford F-350 utility truck that was traveling in the inside lane.

The impact caused the back end of the Ford to crash into an 18-wheeler gravel truck, police said.

The Buick hit the center barrier and went back towards the highway and into the path of the 18-wheeler, causing a third collision.

The Buick was pushed by the 18-wheeler into the center concrete barrier and ended up underneath the trailer, police said.

The driver was ejected from the Buick and he was pronounced dead at the scene. His name hasn't been released until his relatives are notified.
