SAN ANTONIO – Two people went to the hospital following a vehicle crash on the city's Northwest Side overnight, San Antonio police said Wednesday.
The accident was reported around 11:30 p.m. Wednesday in the 9200 block of Potranco Road near Highway 151.
According to police, the driver of a Volkswagen ran a red light and crashed into a sports utility vehicle.
The driver of the Volkswagen had to be cut out of the vehicle and was taken to University Hospital.
The other driver was treated at the scene but went to the hospital later, police said.
At this time police have not said if the driver who ran the red light will be facing any charges.
