SAN ANTONIO – A pedestrian was taken to the hospital after being hit by a vehicle overnight, San Antonio police said Friday.
The accident was reported just after 9 p.m. Thursday on Fredericksburg Road near Louis Pasteur Drive on the city's Northwest Side.
Police said the man walking was not in the crosswalk when he was hit by the vehicle heading southbound.
The victim, a man in his 50s, was taken to University Hospital with multiple injuries. His condition is not currently known.
Authorities said the driver will not be charged.
