Driver charged with DWI after crashing into NE Bexar County home

People were home although no one hurt

SAN ANTONIO – A 30-year-old man is facing a charge of driving while intoxicated after crashing into a home in Northeast Bexar County.

According to Bexar County Sheriff’s investigators, he was behind the wheel around 12 a.m. Monday when he lost control of his car on Woodlake Parkway.

The car then hit the back fence and wall of a home in the 5400 block of Wood Glen, causing damage to what appeared to be the kitchen area.

Although people were inside the home at the time of the crash, no one was hurt.

The driver remained at the scene and was arrested after deputies arrived.
