Police searching for driver responsible for overnight hit-and-run on NW Side

Incident was reported around 3 a.m. in 9300 block of Rue De Bois

SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio police are searching for a driver responsible for a hit-and-run that put a man in the hospital overnight.

The incident was reported around 3 a.m. in the 9300 block of Rue De Bois, which is located not far from Loop 1604 and New Guilbeau Road on the city's Northwest Side.

According to police, the pedestrian was hit by a silver sedan that was occupied by three people.

The unnamed victim, a man in his 30s, was taken to CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Westover Hills for his injuries. His condition is not currently known.

Police said the vehicle sped off on New Guilbeau and that they have been searching the area.

Both San Antonio police and emergency crews responded to the scene.
