SAN ANTONIO – If you live in the Stone Oak area, you probably know how busy Evans Road can be, and soon, you'll see some big changes.
Crews broke ground on a project to expand Evans Road on Friday.

The first phase of the project will widen the road to four lanes instead of two, with wider lanes between Bulverde Road and TPC Parkway.
The project is expected to be completed by spring 2020.
