SAN ANTONIO – A bicyclist was hit from behind by a vehicle that fled the scene early Wednesday on the city's Northeast Side.
Police said a 27-year-old man was riding his bicycle on the access road of NE Loop 410, just east of Perrin Beitel, when a black vehicle hit him.
The victim was taken to San Antonio Military Medical Center with head trauma and was in stable condition, police said.
The driver will face a charge of failure to stop and render aid when arrested, police said.
