Car hits 2 pedestrians, crashes head-on into another vehicle, police say

3 total were taken to University Hospital for their injuries

SAN ANTONIO – Two pedestrians and a driver are in the hospital after both being hit by a vehicle overnight, San Antonio police said Friday.

The incident occurred around 11:30 p.m. Thursday on San Pedro Avenue on the city's North Side near San Antonio College.

Witnesses told police that a car was going southbound when it started weaving in and out through traffic. That's when, police said, the car jumped a curb before hitting two pedestrians. 

Police said the vehicle then attempted to drive off before hitting another car head on-on. 

The two pedestrians and the driver of the vehicle hit were all taken to University Hospital for their injuries.

At this time it is not known if any arrests have been made.

The investigation is ongoing.
