SAN ANTONIO – Three people were killed and three others were injured in a rollover Tuesday afternoon in South Bexar County.
The victims killed were a child under the age of 3 and two women, Bexar County Sheriff Javier Salazar said.
Three injured victims were taken to hospitals. Their conditions were not immediately available.
Salazar said the car, which had Mexican license plates, was traveling south on Interstate 37 near Mathis Road around 1 p.m. when the driver veered to the left and then over-corrected.
The car rolled several times, Salazar said.
Interstate 37 south will be closed while crews clean up the scene.
