SAN ANTONIO – A man is in critical condition after crashing into a pole on the city's Northwest Side, San Antonio police said.
The accident occurred just after 2 a.m. Wednesday at the intersection of Thunder and Callaghan Road.
Police said the driver lost control and crashed into the utility pole, and added speed was likely a factor.
The man was taken to University Hospital for his injuries.
It is not known if the driver will face any charges.
