SAN ANTONIO – Police are looking into whether a driver fell asleep behind the wheel Monday afternoon before he crashed head-on into a truck on the West Side.
The crash was reported about 2 p.m. near the intersection of Culebra Road and Joe Newton Street.
Police said a red truck was in the turn lane when a gold truck hit it head-on. Both drivers were injured and taken to the hospital.
No charges have been filed.
