SAN ANTONIO – Bexar County Sheriff's deputies arrested a man following a chase on the city’s West Side Sunday morning.
It happened just before 2 a.m. on Highway 90 west and Loop 1604.
Deputies said they spotted a car without a front license plate and tried to pull over the driver, but he took off.
The driver then sent them on a chase between Loop 410 and Loop 1604, deputies said
When they managed to pull the man over at the corner of South Ellison and Cedar Bend, they said he had a gun.
The man was arrested and charged with evading arrest as well as unlawfully carrying a weapon.
