Elephants, otters and other sea animals, oh my! Zoo animals enjoy snow day

Zoo closed after heavy snow in Pacific Northwest

PORTLAND, Ore. - The weather may be frigid, but these zoo animals sure are loving it.

The Oregon Zoo closed due to snow Wednesday but that didn't stop its furry residents from having a little frosty fun, as seen in pictures and videos posted to their Facebook.

Otters Tilly and Buttercup were spotted sliding up and down snow mounds as they chased each other through the icy goodness, while a polar bear rubbed his fur against the snow.

The seal could also be heard barking as they rolled around the powder with a friend.

Even an elephant frolicked around, tossing its trunk in the snow.

Talk about a fun snow day.
