Firefighters work to save businesses after fire breaks out at Northwest Side strip mall

Dozens of firefighters worked to put out a fire at a strip mall on the Northwest Side on Monday night. Firefighters say the fire near Wurzbach and Evers started in a shed behind the Kabob Land restaurant. Crews were able to keep the flames from spreading, but some smoke spread to nearby businesses. No one was injured. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
